Lindsay Lohan's walking on a thin wire, with her bail payment constantly keeping her from falling into the slammer.
The media-hogging actress was this close again from being arrested. Judge Revel had stated that the former had violated probation once again when her SCRAM device had detected the presence of alcohol, during Tuesday's negotiations between prosecutors and Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, Associated Press reports.
Holley mentions in a statement that the "Mean Girls" star's monitoring bracelet had indicated the "presence of a small amount of alcohol" following the MTV Movie Awards post party on Sunday night. This device was a mandatory requirement after the starlet missed a probation hearing resulting from her 2007 arrests on drunk driving and misdemeanor drug charges.
That time, Lohan had evaded arrest when she posted $100,000 bail. And another warrant was issued on Tuesday, wherein the bail was doubled to $200,000, once again revoking arrest when the actress paid up.
Lohan even defended in her Twitter account that her monitoring device "wasn't set off," adding that it was "physically impossible" because she had done "nothing for it to go off."
The device doesn't lie, SMH.
