Katy Perry's tongue was a lot faster than she expected!

Exactly. The 'California Gurls' singer caught the audience and TV presenter offguard with a slip of the tongue that she was already married to funnyman Russell Brand. A gigantic Oops!

It was during an interview on British TV that the 25-year-old female pop sensation referred to her comedian beau as her "husband" on Thursday night. If that wasn't enough, Perry also referred to Russell's mother as her mother-in-law. That's two boo-boo's in a row!

"Life's never dull with him, that's why I married him," says Perry.

But after jaw-dropping gasps from the audience and host Graham Norton, the musician instantly composed herself and changed that 'word' to a future tense.

"That's why I'm marrying him," she corrected. The star then refused to comment on whether she secretly wed the comedian.

Seems like Rihanna would have to skip the strip-job. Maybe other stars would be interested in her services?

Wonder if Russell Brand was in on this..
