Ask Lindsay Lohan, who's trying to find a potential replacement for her previous assistant. But there's another problem. The troubled actress has made a hater out of her former help that the latter's itching to get back at her boss by means of a book deal. Uh-oh!
Talk about timing, right? The assistant, who goes by the name Eleanore, called it quits with her 'Freaky Friday' boss some time this month, not able to handle her mega freakshow. Sweetie, you lasted a month. That's nothing short of a miracle!
But as lady luck would put it, Eleanore has been offered a tasty deal to pour out all that hate in a book about her boss. And according to some tabloids the sum may range up to a hefty $50,000. Higher, guys!
So does this mean sweet revenge for Lohan's former right-hand lady? Not exactly. And nope, it's not that she wants to play goody-two-shoes either. Eleanore's actually fears the outcome if she bites into the tempting offer. Like not being able to work ever again. Hmmm. The boss has connections! I shiver like crazy just to entertain the thought.
Lesson. Don't make haters out of your staff when you part ways with them. They'll cost you your career!
Stallone eyes directing job!
Sylvester Stallone |
Rocky! Rocky! Ro-okay, that's enough. Sylvester Stallone may have gotten away with Rambo 4 or Rocky 6, but they're going too far if they're thinking of another sequel. At 60 plus! Well, good news. Because the Italian Stallion's rethinking his career path. Boxing? No way!
Actually, the legendary action hero has been having some thoughts about taking up directing full time, and considers Clint Eastwood an inspiration to his new-found quest.
Says Stallone,"I'm on borrowed time and know my longevity will be predicated on being able to make that move." As you know, the star directed and starred in the Rocky franchise.
In the meantime, the Rambo star will star in the upcoming action packed "Expendables," about a group of mercenaries on a life-threatening mission. And Stallone's not alone, because cameo appearances will feature aging action heroes Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, and Mickey Rourke. I won't mention their ages but we could play a game of multiple choice!
I'm behind you Rambo! Fire away!
