Fans were sure treated to a double delight by former 'American Idol' contestants Chris Daughtry and Kelly Clarkson.
In one memorable moment at Daughtry's concert in Nashville this weekend, fans were caught offguard by a sudden appearance of another 'Idol' member and champ, Kelly Clarkson.
To the delight of the audience, Clarkson came on stage, to perform with Idol season-five fourth place finisher Chris Daughtry in a mesmerizing duet. And the song they performed? It was a rendition of Tracy Chapman's 1988 classic hit, "Fast Car."
Let's see DeWyzee and Bowersox top that one.
President Obama Sings Beatles Song!
The star-studded tribute to former Beatle Paul McCartney at the White House was the ultimate jam session for decades to come. And it wouldn't be complete without the big 'O' himself.
Sir Paul was to accept the third ever Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, in which the previous awardees were Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder. The 67- year-old English musician also turned the Whitehouse into a mini rockfest, where he performed his greatest Beatles and solo hits, including a delightful "Michelle to first lady Michelle Obama (The President has his eye on you, sir Paul).
Yet the main event and the best part came during the curtain closer, when McCartney ended the night with "Hey Jude," in which he was accompanied by other big names such as, Elvis Castello, Jack White, Emmylou Harris, Dave Grohl, Herbie Hancock, Faith Hill and Jerry Seinfeld. And the biggest star of them all? You guessed it right. President Obama got into the rhythm and sang along, mindless of what his critics would think. And the 'na-na-na,na-na-na-na,' part? That was sooo priceless.
I mean, who wouldn't sing along to that Beatles classic?
