Gary Coleman Cremation Put On Hold..

A Utah judge has postponed Gary Coleman's cremation at least until Monday afternoon, to determine who should be assigned control over the late actor's estate.

While former manager Dion Mial has been named by Coleman in a 1999 will as executor, ex-wife Shannon Price is however contesting that she was still legally married to the former child star when he passed away a month before.

Even with Price and Mial in agreement over Coleman's wish to be cremated, it's quite evident that the two parties are clashing on other issues indicated in the will. To this stage, the 'Different Strokes' star's remains are contained at a Utah mortuary, awaiting the judge's decision.

So Price has already filed a legal motion for control over the late actor's estate, despite Mial being appointed special administrator of the said property last week when his lawyer presented the court with the 1999 will.

According to the petition filed by Coleman's ex-wife, it says, "To strip Price's ability to make these decisions and to deprive her from acting for and on behalf of her deceased spouse, at least until a hearing is scheduled, would be a manisfest injustice and would strip her of every shred of dignity that she possesses."

Price is in contrary with the 1999 will, challenging it with another document in 2007, which was handwritten by Coleman, saying that the probate court should consider this instead.
