Madonna: Not A 'Lady GaGa Fan'!

I always thought there was a strong resemblance. Madonna does too, but she isn't exactly all smiles over the Lady Gaga comparison!

In fact, the legendary queen of pop is often irritated when she sees a clip of the younger star's performance and disagrees with the moniker "The new Madonna."

Says a source, "It just bugs Madonna that Lady Gaga uses fashion and her performance style in a way that has so many people calling her 'the new Madonna'.  Madonna thinks she is unique and there cannot be a younger version of something that is unique."

On the bright side, despite labelling her younger rival as a copycat and constantly expressing her lack of fondness, the superstar is quick to admit that Lady Gaga is a talented pianist and musician.

Chill Madge, no one will swipe your crown away from you.

RUSSELL CROWE DEATH RUMORS: A HOAX!

Robin Hood star Russell Crowe is probably amused or irked from hearing about the widespread hoax on his own death.

This tall tale has been traced back to New York station z100, which was responsible for broadcasting this morning that the Aussie star had fallen down a mountain in Austria while filming a stunt for an upcoming film.

It turns out to be that said rumors are indeed false,  according to UsWeekly.com, in which a representative of Crowe has confirmed that the actor is alive and kicking.

This isn't the first time. Celebrity death pranks have been around for quite some time now. Such instances include actress and luxury hotel heiress Paris Hilton and alleged death in the slammer back in 2007. A year earlier, false rumors also surfaced that comedian Will Farrell died during a paragliding accident.

I could just imagine the look on Russell's face when he sees those big black bold letters on the day's front page headlines while sipping coffee at his breakfast table.
