Charlie Sheen Reaches Plea Deal!

Well, well. Seems that the boys in the slammer won't be mingling with Charlie Sheen if the new plea deal pushes through.

Because according to a Colorado theater's artistic director, Sheen's lawyers have approached them about having the 'Two and a Half Men' star do public service work as part of a plea deal in his domestic violence case.

If negotiations materialize, the actor's duties would involve teaching a class and helping out with Theater Aspen's three summer shows, says Paige Price, artistic director.

"I certainly think he has the career credentials," Price said. "And he could possibly teach a class or do question-and-answer sessions. If this could benefit the Theater Aspen's actors or students, I would certainlu be amenable to it."

Yet it has not been confirmed whether the actor would serve jail time as part of the whole deal.

Arnold Mordkin, Pitkin Country Chief Deputy District Attorney, mentioned earlier this week that prosecutors have already finalized an agreement concerning Sheen's charges of assault, criminal mischief and menacing which evolved from an argument with his wife on Christmas day.

Modkin also made it clear that the treatment given to Sheen is no different that any other Aspen resident charged with the same offense.

I bet the excitement's giving Charlie sleepless nights.
