This week's US box office result suggests that moviegoers chose to watch Andy's toys in a new world.
For the second week in a row, Disney-Pixar's 'Toy Story 3' grabbed the top spot with a whopping $59 Million gross, according to Hollywood.com. Last week's performance of Woody and Buzz's third movie installment is a record-breaking $110.3 Million. Wow, there's money in old toys!
Meanwhile, Adam Sandler's funny bone failed to beat Woody and the gang. The actor's guy-inspired movie "Grown Ups" followed with a surprisingly strong $41 Million. Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise's latest comedy-action film "Knight and Day", which is worth $100 Million in production et cetera, weren't as lucky with about $20.5, on third spot.
Cruise's "Knight And Day" opened Wednesday, and the movie's five-day total was about $28 Million.
