The bigger they are, the harder they fall! Exactly. Mel Gibson's lethal tongue is definitely not for the faint of heart and may even cost the actor/director his once illustrious career.
In a nasty custody dispute that ceases to mellow down, Mel rattled the masses when the beast in him erupted and gave his ex girlfriend a collection of gut-piercing obscenities. Unfortunately for Mr. Gibson, Oksana Grigorieva would use this for her benefit when she secretly recorded the whole tongue lashing on tape to support her claims of the actor's violent character. And presto. It's out for the whole world to hear!
Statements like, "You are provocatively dressed all the time with your fake boobs you feel you have to show," or "if you get raped by a pack of n---ers, it would be your fault." Not to mention the spine-tingling "I'll bury you in your rose garden." Yup, the bigger-than-life quotes have made its permanent residence on the web. And a possible direction towards the slump for the 54-year-old actor.
According to Harvey Levin of TMZ who reveals to ABC News, this could be the big finisher for the 'Ransom' star.
Says Levin, "I think it's possible that Mel's career is over, but I'm not certain of that. This is as vile as it gets."
The Australian-born star made his presence felt when he burst into the screen as a newcomer with the 'Mad Max' series decades ago (still had the strong Aussie accent) but was catapulted to instant fame as a wisecracking cop in 'Lethal Weapon' in 1987, and three more hit sequels. He bagged best director and best picture for 'Braveheart' in 1995. 'The Passion of the Christ' which he directed and produced was a colossal hit. As an actor his movies have grossed more than $2 billion in the U.S.
Yesiree. The man was a newsmaker back in his heyday, but that doesn't mean he's no longer front page material nowadays, isn't he?
Seriously, Mel's got to chill-he needs help, bigtime.

Former MTV VJ LaLa Vasquez and her basketball beau Carmelo Anthony tie the knot as New York's Cipriani restaurant.
Lala wore a Vera Wang wedding gown as she exchanged vows with Carmelo, who she has been engaged to since Christmas Day 2004. Their 3-year-old son Kiyan served as ring bearer.
