Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning - stars of the film 'The Runaways' - insist that their on-screen kiss wasn't a big deal. Kristen Stewart plays the role of Joan Jett, while Dakota Fanning portrayed Cherie Currie in the biopic flick directed by Floria Sigismondi. The movie opens March 19 in USA.

During the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah - Kristen and Dakota defend the kiss. Kristen said: "It's just something we did. In this story, it's so not like a romantic thing." Not as romantic as Robert Pattinson kissing scene? LOL. At the movie's Sundance Film Festival premiere, Dakota explained that the whole 'kiss' scene is a part of the story. "It wasn't that big of a deal. It's just another part of the story. This kiss was passionate - Joan and Cherie were just as close as two could get." says Dakota Fanning.
