Bret Michaels is released from confinement, yet his condition remains critical at this point.
Michaels' doctor, Joseph M. Zabramski, reveals in a press conference that the rocker is walking but not very well. He's talking a lot better though, and mentally aware.
The doctor continues, saying that the ex Poison frontman's condition remains critical but has been discharged from Barrow Neurogical Institute in Arizona, to undergo physical therapy at some undisclosed location.
'We're watching him very closely and are very concerned that there could be a deterioration in his status at this point. We continue to watch him closely,' says Zambramski.
The doctor also mentioned that Michaels was fortunate to have undergone immediate treatment following his hemorrhage. Currently, Zabramski and the whole medical team are confident that the rocker won't encounter other problems such as aneurysm that could lead to recurrent hemorrhage.
The blood coming from the blood clot is beginning to dissolve as well, although can be very irritating and causes severely painful chemical meningitis.
Right now, Michaels is troubled with back pains, but he's fighting and will continue to gradually improve.
"He'll fortunately make a 100 percent recovery," says the doctor.
