Talk about fishing out a collectors item.
And we're not talking about anything like stamps or baseball cards here. How about Marilyn Monroe's chest X-rays?
Yup! The prize find was taken on November 10, 1954, during a hospital visit. The X-rays included a frontal shot of Monroe's chest, a side chest shot, and one of her pelvis.
According to New York Post, these X-rays were expected to be priced at $800 to $1200 each, but went over instead, like 10 times that amount at Julien's Auctions in Las Vegas.
Eventually, the X-rays were sold to two anonymous bidders at a total of $51,000. Wonder where they'll hang that up? Creepy.
Right now I'm calculating how much my own X-rays would value after several. Any buyers? I thought so!

Britney is not dead, she is currently in California with boyfriend Jason Trawick. Period!
