Manny Pacquiao Most Powerful
Quezon City, Philippines - A lot of 'errors' can be sighted with Yes Magazine's Most Powerful Showbiz Personalities list for their 9th Anniversary issue. A lot of Filipinos and even personalities included in the list are also questioning the accuracy and the criteria of the said list.

We are not against the magazine's list, but how come a finalist of Time Magazine's Most Influential Manny Pacquiao only ranked 21st in the list while Piolo Pascual was ranked 9th, and Michael V. was ranked 16th? We are not against Piolo or Michael V, but how come they ranked higher than a Time Magazine finalist? Weird, and we agree on Joey De Leon's statements that a criteria must be presented in order for the Filipinos to fully understand their "Most Powerful list".

If one of their 'criteria' is net worth, can Marian Rivera's [5th Most Powerful says Yes] earnings beat Manny Pacquiao's per-fight earnings? Even his Pay-per-view earnings in HBO is a way[very] higher than Sarah Geronimo's [Ranked 15th says Yes] talent fee of 200 thousand Pesos per movie. Can 'Zorro' of Richard Gutierrez [ranked 6th says Yes] lower the crime rates of the Philippines? Influence also means Power, agree?

The list is OVERRATED and VERY BIAS!

And our last words, agree on Yes Magazine's list, or go with Time Magazine. its your choice.
