Los Angeles, California - Philippine boxing champ and fighter of the year Manny Pacquiao reveals his newest project, a song recording of his single, "Lahing Pinoy".
In the exclusive footage of GMA Network's entertainment show Showbiz Central, Pacquiao was spotted recording the single at Melrose Music Records Mix Master in Hollywood, California. The song theme focuses on Patriotism and graced the unity of his race.
The song will be played as his "entrance song" for his upcoming bout with Ricky Hatton on May 2, 2009 in Las, Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A. Philippine composer Lito Camo composed the song for the People's champ. "The song is very beautiful, and the lyrics of the song is very simple to understand [translated to English]." says Camo.
Camo added, the song gives a big inspiration to Pacquiao for his fight with Hatton. GMA top bosses Wilma Galvante and Redgie Magno was also spotted during the recording phase of the song. After his song recording, Pacquiao joined a celebrity basketball tournament.
