Los Angeles, California - American Idol Season 8 says bye-bye to Oil-Rig worker Michael Sarver after he was booted-off this week. Sarver performed "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" for the Motown week, and got a mixed reaction from fans and judges.
The 28-year old smiley and simple guy from Louisiana was in the bottom two last week that lead to Alexis Grace's elimination.
What's more surprising with this week's elimination was the bottom three composed of Matt Giraud and Scott MacIntyre. Matt Giraud, the underdog turned crowd favorite, and Scott MacIntyre, the 'masses' favorite that sings with passion but always stays on his comfort zone.
As expected, Anoop Desai managed to escape from the bottom list. The Motown week were dominated by consistent strong hopefuls Danny Gokey, Adam Lambert, Allison Iraheta and Kris Allen. Lil Rounds and Megan Joy Corkey are standing mediocre in the competition.
