Quezon City, Philippines - According to Nene Riego's article in Bulgar published today, the top rated afternoon game show of GMA 7 will say bye-bye soon. Family Feud is now on its last two weeks. Pinoy hunk and host of the show Richard Gomez expressed his sentiments,
"We will make our final bow na taas-noo dahil sa simula hanggang ngayo'y mataas ang rating ng programa. Sayang nga at hanggang two seasons lang ito. Kasi'y ito ang kontrata ng GMA 7 sa franchisor." says Richard.
The last two weeks of Goma's game show will feature celebrity contestants and their families, or co-stars. Replacing Family Feud is another game show that will surely rock the ratings game. Its entitled "A Hole in the Wall", hosted by Yaya [Michael V.] and Angelina [Ogie Alcasid]. The characters of Ogie and Michael V were first seen in GMA's Friday Gag show, Bubble Gang. "A Hole in the Wall" is a Japanese original game show that created a big stir not just in the Japanese state, but worldwide. In the US, Fox channel got the franchise of the show.
The mechanics of "AHITW" is simple, players must contort themselves to fit through cutouts in a large 13 feet (4.0 m) by 7.5 feet (2.3 m) Styrofoam wall moving towards them on a 50 feet (15 m).
