Hollywood - American Idol season 8 first runner-up Adam Lambert is now the much anticipated artist to debut in the music industry. After the "biggest upset" of the Fox reality show on May 20th, Adam answered all the intrigues that haunt his upcoming career, and personal life.

According to Associated Press, Adam is fine with the outcome of the contest, "I'm just thrilled that I get to move forward and have a career in the (record) industry," he said. "That's why I auditioned for the show and that's really what kept pushing me forward. That's why I feel I won. I don't feel the title of first or second place matters at this point."

In a separate interview of Lambert on Larry King Live with guest host Ryan Seacrest, Adam answers some "Idol issues" including the guy-liner, and the fans claim that he lost the game due to his sexuality. "I don't know, whatever the make-up artist puts on me, you know." he said, pertaining to his black eyeliner trademark often seen on the show.

Seacrest asked Lambert: "Let me ask you this: The speculation about your sexuality, do you think that had anything to do with coming in second place?"

"No, I think if anything, I think it -- I think my lifestyle is just I'm different. I'm a little bit -- I'm not your typical guy next door. The guy next door versus the guyliner. Sexuality aside, I think it more had to do with maybe my appearance and what songs I gravitated toward and my performance style. I think that had more to do with it." says Adam, with a smile on his face.
