California - "Well, I'm not 50 years old, and I do spray tan.", harsh words coming from bikini girl Katrina Darrel after the surprise "mic stealing" of Idol judge Kara DioGuardi.
In her exclusive interview with RadarOnline, Darrel says Kara and the Idol prod team tried to "test her". She also accused the production of shutting off her microphone and let Kara sing. She also brags about her "musical theater" experience and it helped her not to react "wild" with the surprise mic steal.
"I knew there were 100 million viewers, so I couldn't cry," she said. "I couldn't get mad. I just had to smile and deal with it.". Darrel also added that Kara didn't apologized, but the producers explained what happened, "The show producers kind of said, 'I'm sorry.' I think they tested me. I think I did really well, considering all that I went through."
Surprisingly, bikini girl also blames Kara for the low ratings of American Idol Season 8. "I don't understand why they added a fourth (judge) in the first place."
