California - Miss California 2009 Carrie "anti-gay" Prejean is being compared with 2008 Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin? Yeah, they have a lot of similarities! After her tagged "controversial" answer in Miss USA 2009 --- nearly bashing the gay community and their marriage rights, Carrie was seen very active in non-profit and NGO activities to protect the "virginity" of marriage.
In her exclusive interview with Today show, Carrie revealed that she's working with NOM, those guys in Youtube with the "gathering of clouds" thing? Obviously opposing gay marriage, Carrie elaborated, "I'm just here to protect marriage, and the National Organization for Marriage basically just respects marriages, and people who support it. And that's what I'm here to do today, to protect the traditional marriage."
She also denied the issue that she received some threats to her safety after a very vocal campaign against gay and lesbian, "I've actually had so many supporters, and so many people just saying 'thank you so much' to had to take a beauty pageant contestant to actually stand up for what she believes in."
