California - Miss USA 2009 Kristen Dalton defends her runner-up Miss California 2009 Carrie Prejean from the bashing eyes of the media peeps. In her exlusive Daily 10 interview, Dalton says Carrie helped the organization's "publicity".
"I really think that it's great for the Miss Universe Organization, because it's given us a lot of publicity," she said, "And there's gonna be a lot of people watching this Miss USA pageant next year." she added. Dalton, the candidate of the state of North Carolina also compared the situation of Prejean and dethroned Miss Nevada Katie Rees. "If you look at the photos, they're completely different," Miss USA said. "Carrie's were modeling photos, and Katie's were in action." Dalton added.
Meanwhile, Carrie recently turned down her Larry King live guesting, and her rep says Miss California 2009 was "tired" 'coz of her birthday bash. Prejean is set to join the "Fox and Friends" show, and will act as a special host for one day filling in for Gretchen Carlson, the 1989 Miss America who will be off that day.
