Sarah Harding has broken her foot. The Girls Aloud star will have to wear a cast over the Christmas period and doctors have told Sarah, who is renowned for her love of partying, to rest up over the next few weeks. A spokesperson for the Girls Aloud singer claimed she suffered the injury when a car door was slammed on her foot.

However, a source at The Mayfair Hotel suggested that Sarah stumbled out of her bed last week, causing the break. Last week, she was unable to attend the premiere after-party for new movie 'St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold' - in which she plays a troublemaking school girl - because of the injury. A source said: "She was really disappointed - JLS and The Saturdays had gone back to her bar Kanaloa to help her celebrate, but she had to stand them up because she was in so much pain. She just wasn't up to it."
