Heather Locklear was fined for a hit and run incident. Her victim - a no parking sign.

The 48 year old blonde beauty reportedly rammed her 2005 BMW into a no-parking sign on a public street in California, around 4 a.m. on a Saturday and drove off in a hurry before nearby bystanders could even recognize her pretty face. Just so happens the authorities are fully equipped for the dirty work.

Sheriff's spokesman Ross Bonfiglio, told People.com that debris were examined after the crash, which Ventura Country Sheriffs traced it back to the star's auto, leading to the blonde culprit's arrest who was cited for misdemeanor hit-and-run.

Added Bonfiglio, Locklear was cooperative and was not handcuffed or taken to the station because it was just a misdemeanor charge. She was cited and released after being fined. There was also no indication whether alcohol was involved or if anyone else was in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

Before the incident, Locklear was spotted after attending a fashion event, where her daughter debut on the cat walk.

So better keep those no-parking signs away from Locklear's path, or else!
