Lindsay Lohan has something to be thankful for, she's media's favorite target.

"I don't know why I'm a target, but I think there's a big misconception of who I am as person," the troubled starlet spoke out on radio show L.A.'s 102.7 KISS-FM.

Misconception? Oh, okay. A multiple personality disorder?

"It's a very build-you-up-to-take-you-to-town industry, and i'm working hard," she claimed. She also mentioned about producing some shows and will be starting a movie soon.

So that'll mean another boot.

The troubled star further elaborates that she's been working a lot (like getting on daddy's bad side)and going out to have fun with friends. And again, this 'going out' has gotten estranged father Michael worried sick and concerned for his daughter's life.

Lindsay mostly blames her dad for the negative publicity surrounding her, saying that "it only brings negative press and that's why it hurts me."

So besides the public's so-called misconception regarding her character, the actress insists that she's just a nice person and loves 'entertaining people.'

Sure, sure, Lindsay. Whatever'll make you sleep at night.
