Female pop sensation Madonna has paid a visit on monday to Malawi, native homeland of her adopted children David and Chifundo 'Mercy' James, whom she brought along on the trip. Biological daughter Lourdes, whom Madonna brought along as well, will be in the country as her 'Material Girl' mother performs on a week long tour.

Besides this, Madonna will visiting other establishments she has donated millions to. she'll be part of a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday for the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls to which she has aided financially, the instituition worth $15 million. The academy is scheduled to open next year.

The Vogue star is easilly moved and overflowing with affection for these children in poverty. And according to Mirror UK, she has begun such projects that will make a difference in their lives to which Malawi is one of her proudest achievements.
