Manny 'The Pacman' Pacquiao, has his gloves full nowadays with the Philippine elections just around the corner, and an unfinished business to settle with 'Pretty Boy' trash-talking Mayweather Junior. So does this still leave room for a possible journey into another unconquered weight division?

The boxing world's number one pound-for-pound king, has definitely been there before. This southpaw from the province of General Santos began his humble career as a skinny, 106 pounder at age 16, but would soon capture his first world title at the flyweight division, via an 8th round KO over Chatchai Sasakul. And from this, there was no turning back for the Filipino pride.

Pacquiao would pack on the pounds at a somewhat incredible pace, continuously outclassing opponents such as Juan Manuel Marquez and Marco Antonio Barerra (to name a few), as he moved up each weight division, and at one point earning the monicker as 'The Mexicutioner.' Eventually, he would then dominate the world of light welterweight and welterweight, where his victims included powerhouses Oscar Dela Joya, Rick Hatton, Miguel Cotto and just recently, rock hard Joshua Clottey.

Now forget about pending fight negotiations with the much awaited 'Mouth of the West' Mayweather. Having established himself in the welterweight category, we can't help but toy with our minds regarding the Pacman claiming world title number eight. In the middleweight class.

Would Pacquiao still posess the lightning quick agility at a required weight of 155 to 160 pounds? Coach Freddie Roach disapproved of such a scenario, believing that the Pacman has reached his maximum weight.

But if we can recall prior to Joshua Clottey suiting up for his fight with Pacquiao, Promoter Bob Arum entertained possibilities of matching the filipino southpaw with Junior Middleweight champ Yuri 'The Straight Right Rabbi' Foreman. This would have been an unprecedented feat at title number eight, had this pushed through. And without a doubt, the biggest in Pacquiao's glorious career.

So frankly, size hasn't been an issue for the Destroyer. And I don't see anything unsurmountable for a man who's got a huge heart.
