Manny Pacquiao, Filipino pride and the boxing world's pound-for-pound king, has been repeatedly asked by his concerned mother to step down from the ring once and for all. Those promises have been nailed to the ground.

With the Pacman preoccupied with preparations for upcoming May 10 elections, his boxing career is put on hold and possibly, even given the red light shall he triumph as Sarangani's new congressman.

But not so fast, though. That's not exactly what the huge multitude of aching boxing fans have in mind. Pacquiao definitely owes them the big one. He's got an unfinished score to settle.

And with previously tireless assumptions of a Pacquiao-Mayweather clash never having to materialize due to coflicts from both camps, the current situation still proves misty.

Right now, the 'Mouth of the West' Mayweather is set to collide with Sugar Shayne Mosley early next month, yet it seems that no matter how close it gets towards the much awaited megabout, pretty boy Floyd always seems to to make a move - in the opposite direction.

Hurling non stop accusations, the drug test mumbo jumbo, this and that, blah-blah-blah...Mayweather'll give Snoop Dogg a run for his money with all that rap crap.

With the rate things are going, Mosley proves a much worthier opponent for the Pacman, should he win against 'trigger-mouth' Mayweather.

And another lingering issue for the filipino champ. An eigth world title. That means moving up once again in the weight rank to Middleweight division. He's done it several times before, so could he still pull it off with number eight? If this happens, huge is an understatement to Pacquiao's boxing career.

So, should the greatest retire at this point? At age 31, he's young and still has a lot stored in that ammo. But the Pacman's entitled to decide for his own, whichever path he crosses. So let's respect the warrior.

And leave the Pretty Boy to his endless tantrums. Awww..past your bedtime, Floydy?
