Rocker and survivor Bret Michaels may not be out of the woods yet after that life-threatening ordeal.

The Poison frontman revealed on Wednesday, that he was still experiencing headaches as well as problems in movement after recovering from a fatal brain hemorrhage just last month.

He was informed by sepcialists though, that the after effects is part of the recovery process, in which it gets better with each passing day.

Michaels, 47, who made an announcement a week earlier regarding his grand May 28 comeback performance, confessed to Oprah during an interview that he was just fortunate to be alive, having increased his therapy to twice a day.

"I'm so happy to be sitting here talking to you, to be alive, and you know what, just to enjoy every second of my life," says Michaels.

The rockstar, known for his long blonde hair and colorful bandanas, even told Oprah that he'll refuse to have the headgear removed while he was under intensive care, no matter what.

"If I'm going out, I want to go out rocking, alright? If I got to go, I said, leave the boots on, some form of the bandana, and a cape. If I could go out right, not in that hospital gown, no way, no matter what happens," elaborates Michaels.

Besides his return to the May 23 finals of 'Celebrity Apprentice,' which the rocker is still very much in the running to bag the title, he is also scheduled to perform live in Biloxi, Mississippi, on May 28, not to mention his June 10 tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd in Florida. Michaels definitely has his hands full.

Rockers don't grow old. They get more soul. Right, munch?
