What do we have here, is Lindsay Lohan doing a 'Houdini' act on her scheduled court appearance?

According to the headline-hogging starlet who's currently stuck in France, she won't be able to show up on her Thursday court date, because her passport has been stolen (how long did it take her to come up with that?).

Lindsay's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley states that the troubled actress even went to the airport yesterday in an attempt to get home minus her passport, but she was sent back.

Holley continues by saying, "She is now doing everything in her power to get a temporary passport so that she can make it back to Los Angeles to attend her alcohol program and appear in court."

Others share a different point of view. According to RadarOnline.com, Estranged dad Michael Lohan has referred to his daughter's stolen passpost story as 'just another lie.' (keep spreadin' the love, pops). But not mommy Dina Lohan, who instantly stood up for the actress.

"This was not a planned scheme," Dina counters claims in a statement to Radar. "She has filled out an application for a new passport. We've filed the necessary police reports. We're actively trying to get her home."

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel seems quite fed up though, even with the 'Mean Girls' star previously making up for missed sessions. In fact, Revel has already disciplined Lindsay multiple times for missing classes and even ordered her to attend on a weekly basis, without exception.

Revel says at a December hearing, "This has to be done once a week. Right now the other things will take second place and this will take first place."

Meanwhile, daddy Michael plans to plead with the judge to send daughter Lindsay to rehab, once he shows up on Thursday's hearing.
