Rocker Bret Michaels suffers a stroke and is back in the hospital.

According to Michael's publicist Joann Mignano, the poison frontman was struck with what doctors refer to as a 'warning stroke' and was diagnosed with a condition of having a hole in the heart, or a patent foramen ovale.

It is unlikely that The 47-year-old rocker's current condition is related to his previous ordeal with a hemorrhage to the brain, but can be treated.

On a statement on his website, Michaels is "up, walking, talking, continuing his daily rehab and very happy to be alive." He also looks forward to a speedy recovery.

The blonde, long haired rock sensation was expected to mark his comeback on the finals of the 'Celebrity Apprentice' in New York, besides being tapped to do a couple of live shows in the following months.
