Rocker Bret Michaels has learned a painful, yet valuable lesson.

The 47-year-old Poison Frontman has definitely gone through the eye of a needle, so he's not one to take it lightly this time, having suffered bouts with several recent health scares-a warning stroke, a brain hemorrhage, appendectomy and the works. So expect Michaels not to take any more undue risks during recovery.

According to the rocker's spokesperson Janna Ellias, in a Friday statement on his website, "Bret is a very passionate person and refuses to live his life curled up in a ball wondering if or when something else might happen."

So while Michaels looks forward to making it on the season finale of the 'Celebrity Apprentice,' to comete for the title, the musician's major concern is his health.

The rock sensation is continuously being closely monitored by his doctors, and he's also currently taking daily injections of blood thinners.
