FYI: Riverdale is the fictional town where comic characters Archie, Betty, Veronica etc. live.
According to Comics Alliance, a little bit of Forks is coming to Riverdale with a 'Twilight' parody in the upcoming August issue of Archie and Friends. Archie, together with Veronica and a vampire are on the cover of the said issue, that's so 'New Moon'!
Actually, the comic vampire's name is Ivan (not Edward). Check out the hair, it's Robert Pattinson's iconic (now gone) do! Another funny element of this Archie issue is the way the synopsis described their Robert Pattinson look-alike vampire character.
Here's the synopsis of Archie's 'Twilight' parody issue entitled 'Twilite':
"It's love at first bite when two new students arrive in Riverdale. Betty and Veronica are fascinated by the smoldering-hot Ivan, but Jarred is warning everyone who'll listen that Ivan is really a vampire! Reggie volunteers to help Jarred expose Ivan as a bloodsucker, but love--or maybe Ivan--is clouding the girls' judgment. Can the girls be saved before romance sinks its teeth in?
