Lakers Hangs On For A Seventh Final Game!

Coming from two consecutive losses at the hands of Kevin Garnett's camp, the Lakers regrouped their bearings, with Kobe getting a lot of back up from his pumped-up teammates.

Bryant finished with 26 points and 11 rebounds, with center Pau Gasol adding 17 points and 9 assists to stretch the whole series into a game seven clincher, still at the Lakers home court, the first time the defending champs had done so since 2005.

Tough-as-nails Ron Artest contributed 15 points, as they blasted their long time rivals with an amazing 22-point lead in the first half, which sort of dictated the tempo of the rest of the game.

If you recall, it was in 2008 where Phil Jackson's wards suffered a shameful 39-point defeat from Doc River's Celtics in Game 6. A year after, Lakers would bounce back to grab the championship ring at the expense of the

Orlanda Magic. Yet something was missing. The revenge factor.

And it was just sweet deja vu that these two powerhouses would clash again, only a totally different scenario this time, the Lakers depriving the Celtics of a repeated game 6 wrap up, and quite embarrassing at that.

Ray Allen did his 19-point share for his team, which wasn't enough. And as much as the Celtics are on the verge of collecting their 18 title, so is their legendary foes, who are on their way to their 16th.

So the question is, is it anybody's ballgame? You bet it is, come game 7.

So is it the 'inconvenient truth?' Ask Al Gore, whose alleged two-year affair with producer Laurie David has spread like a virus with the media taking a huge bite out of it.

Yet hold your horses, gossip enthusiasts. According to People, which has quoted from David's rep as saying, there is absolutely no truth to the report and just plain hype.

"It's completely, patently false," says Dorian Karchmar. "I have no idea where it started from or why."

David also reveals to the Huffington Post that there is no truth to the story and even added that she has been involved in a "serious relationship" ever since her divorce in 2007.
