Hey guys, check out an archive picture of the late Dennis Hopper. According to Fame Pictures, the photo was taken in the late 60s when Hopper promoted his film 'Easy Rider' in France.


Recap: Dennis Hopper passed away at his home in Venice, California at 8:15 am on May 29, 2010 from complications of prostate cancer, a family friend tells Reuters. Family and friends surrounded Hopper during this difficult time. The actor, who was best known for starring in and directing Easy Rider.


Celebrities At Dennis Hopper Funeral


It was a farewell of mourning to legendary actor Dennis Hopper, from family and friends.

Actors Jack Nicholson and Val Kilmer were among those who payed their last respects at Hopper's funeral.

Nicholson, another great legend, has starred with the late actor in Easy Rider. He says of his co-star, "It was a very singular relationship I had with him, like nobody else. We were soul mates in a way. I really miss him."

The private burial commenced following the 2-hour service in New Mexico. The ceremony, held at the historic San Francisco de Asis church in Ranchos De Taos, was described by mourners as "lovely, "tender" and "beautiful." 

During the service, Hopper's son, Henry Lee, read from Walt Whitman's collection of poems.

Hopper was first diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2009. He died Saturday at the age of 74, at his home in Venice, California.
