Fans are finding Lady Gaga's recent blunders hard to swallow lately.
The pop star's recent health issue isn't at all a big deal, but her seemingly insensitive acts have disappointed loyal followers in the UK.
On her May 28th 'Monster Ball' concert in Birmingham, Lady Gaga caught fans offguard when she made a sudden declaration about her forthcoming 'Alejandro' music video coming in "three days" time, which was on May 31st, a Monday. She failed to keep her promise and expressed her apologies later on. Lady GaGa's camp also released two teasers of her Alejandro music video, check out the second one below.
A fan at toyaz-world has this to say: "However, as an artist who is still relatively new to the scene, she needs to learn not to toot her own horn too soon."
And that wasn't the first. On June 2nd, while onstage in Manchester, the pop princess sparked an outrage from even her loyal fans, when she depicted a somewhat grotesque murder scene where she is also eaten by a pyscho killer. Talk about bad timing, because this took place only hours after a series of serial killings shook the region.
The controversial murders prior to Lady Gaga's theatrics, involved a gun rampage in Cumbria, where a 52-year-old cab driver named Derrick Bird, killed 12. Not to mention the three prostitute homicides in nearby Bradford where investigating agencies have charged 40-year-old 'Crossbow Cannibal' suspect Stephen Griffiths.
Lynn Castello, of the organization Mothers against Violence, described the musician's acts as "tasteless," and "insensitive."
Call it one of Lady Gaga's bizarre stunts to liven up her shows, call it innovative artistry. But I have to go with the public on this one. You got to know when to step on the brakes, Miss poker face.
