The new "Karate Kid" made its debut  Monday night. And this also brought out the original stars from hiding.

Filling in the huge shoes left by Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita, Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan graced the special event for this generation's film audience. And it was on a Monday where both stars were backed up by a cast of the original flick.

It was certainly a heyday for Ralph Macchio, who soared to fame with the popular new kid-beats-bully teen flick in 1984.  The baby faced actor went on to complete two more  sequels for the film.

Macchio himself, wouldn't miss it for the world as he showed full support at the premiere. He says, "You know, the writer said to me, Robert Kamen, who wrote the original film, he said, 'You know, we never had a premiere. Nor an after-party. He said our after party kind of lasted 26 years."

And who wouldn't forget the original bullies, Wiiliam Zabka and Tony O'Dell, who were fortunate enough to be passing the torch this time around.

Proud parents and one of the new film's producers, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were most excited to be at huge event, featuring their youngest son Jaden, who performed his own stunts.

Jackie Chan especially thankful to Will Smith for assigning him the dream role in the movie.  "Karate Kid" opens in theaters on Friday.

Harry Potter nemesis Tom Felton won Best Villain for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy at the MTV Movie Awards, edging out some very stiff competition.

Ecstatic over the victory, he shared winning moments with co-stars Mark Wahlberg and comedian Will Ferrel who both were in a very awkward position, literally.

"Very exciting! The most surreal moment of my life," he reveals to MTV News. "I had Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrel hanging above my head on a wire. So, yeah, I can't know what to make of that."

Asked if he deserved to win, the actor displayed a touch of modesty, responding with an immediate "no." The rivals in the category included Helena Bonham Carter and Christoph Waltz, which Felton ruled out as a not really fair competition. He showed his appreciation to fans who voted for him.

Felton was then caught offguard when Wahlberg came out of nowhere and told him that he did a great job, which left the Harry Potter star, star-struck.

"You've got that on camera, yeah? Evidence we're tight right now," the actor joked.

Unable to contain his excitement, Felton also spilled the beans earlier in the evening, that real life flame, Jade Olivia, who's a "Potter" stunt assistant, would appear in a cameo role in the upcoming "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

He's a such jolly chap, isn't he?
