The FDA is at it again on a sexual enhancement product, this time against the "world's first passion coffee" that works for both men and women.
Magic Power Coffee is marketed as a sexual enhancer, and is said to contain a chemical which may decrease blood pressure to dangerously low levels when it interacts with prescription medications as nitrates. That chemical, hydroxythiohomosildenafil, is similar to sildenafil which is the active ingredient of Viagra.
Despite not having had any reports of adverse effects associated with Magic Power Coffee, the FDA advised customers to stop using it. Sexual enhancement products that claim to work as well as prescription drugs may be risky. And since a product such as this is labelled as "all natural," then it leads consumers to believe that there are no serious side effects.
There is no such thing as "no side effects," by the way.
Anyone taking the said coffee and has experienced a negative side effect is advised to consult a physician.
In the meantime, if you are considering taking any sexual enhancer in a non-prescription form - sorry, guys. Besides, you guys have the advantage of getting a prescription drug for this. The ladies have to face issues in other ways. Risking your health by taking in products without the FDA's stamp of approval is not worth all this.
