Robert Pattinson defends 'Twilight' books writer Stephenie Meyer! According to a report on the internet, Rob, who plays the role of Edward Cullen in the movie adaptation of Meyer's books, dismisses all rumours claiming that the writer hides Mormon philosophy through the books in the hope of turning the young readers of the books to the religion. 

Rob is still busy shooting his new movie, 'Water For Elephants' in California. He already skipped a lot of 'Twilight Saga' overseas tour including the latest, which is in Stockholm.

Speaking of Stockholm, Rob's rumoured girlfriend Kristen Stewart looked fabulous while promoting the upcoming installment, 'Eclipse' in Sweden.

According to our Stockholm source, K-Stew obviously enjoyed the press conference with Taylor Lautner. "They look very sweet together. Some fans sitting on front row think they're really close."

OMG, looks like Robert Pattinson must not skip the next overseas promo!
