Eminem gives thumbs up to gay marriage!
Rapper Eminem has spoken in favor of gay marriage, a far cry in those days when he even provoked the gay rights movement.
But thats history, according to the rapper, who declares that "everyone should have the chance to be equally miserable," during the interview.
During protests, Eminem had promised to exclude the offending rhymes in his upcoming shows in the UK. He has even approved of same sex unions as well as marriage itself.
The rapper, known as Marshall Mathers, reveals in an interview which is to be published in the New York Times on June 20, that he has a new outlook.
"I think I've calmed down a bit. My overall look on things is to be more mature than it used to be," admits 'Slim Shady.'

Venus Williams Has The Crowd's Attention!
Venus Williams has the crowd's attention with her two singles titles and two Grand Slam Doubles titles in what is considered a good season for her. But its not the only reason followers are constantly on the lookout for the tennis star.
Williams' impressive wins have propelled her to world's number 2. And equally stunning has to be her outfits, which has also been headlines material.
The whole fashion trend began at the Australian Open, wherein the star sported a revealing dress, one with high slits that bared a lot of leg. This carried on at the French Open, in which Williams wore a lacy, red-and-black dress, featuring nude-skin-tight shorts underneath. It's been known for a fact that Serena Williams older sister designs her own clothing.
And right now, we're all wondering what she will be wearing come Monday at the major tournament in Wimbledon, which implements strict dress codes.
Says Williams in an interview this week, "It's definitely inspired by Tina Turner. It's called a shimmy dress. You'll see. It's got fringe. That's all I can say."
She also explains that the so-called nude shorts that she wore at the French Open was about illusion. There's no doubt that the illusion will be back but not right away, according to Williams.
Now the star will be making her comeback to Wimbledon and is among the favorites. She has bagged the title five times, the recent one, in 2008. And the lawns of Wimbledon always felt like home to her.
Attention will center primarily on doubles this year, where Williams and her sister Serena, are ranked the no. 1 doubles team in the world, having won the last four Grand Slam championships. Winning this Wimbledon would mean that they would be three quarters of their way through a calendar-year slam.
Williams however, is mum when it comes to discussing that sort of possibility with her sister, and only comes to her mind when reporters tackle the subject.
With the sister tandem, I've always thought that they possess the artillery to make the impossible happen. That would be a feat to watch!
And keep it up with the sassy outfits, Venus!
