The legends will never be forgotten.
Ed Limato, Hollywood's veteran talent agent, passed away on Saturday at age 73 after having succumbed to serious health problemes, reveals news reports.
Limato was well known for molding celebrities into huge stars, which includes names such as Denzel Washington, Mel Gibson and Kevin Costner. Not to mention being recognized for treating other clients in a paternal manner, namely, Antonio Banderas, Robert Downey Jr., Liam Neeson, Steve Martin, Diana Ross and Richard Gere.
He devoted his 44-year career to International Creative Management, but also had a 10 year stint at the William Morris Agency back in the 1980's. Limato would then return to William Morris in 2007 following a period of reorganization at ICM.
Additionally, the ace talent agent hosted an annual pre-Oscar party which happens to be one of the most desired invites on the awards circuit.
Limato died in his home on Saturday while awaiting a lung transplant, as reported by Entertainment news blogger Nikki Finke.
Your legacy shall live on, sir. Rest in peace.
