Robert Pattinson has a new nemesis, and it isn't a howling furball or another fangster. Actually, it's real and it's even worse than the two put together!


Righty. Besides Team Edward and Team Jacob, and anti-Kristen Stewart going at each other's throats, we have Team Courtney. Huh? Yessiree. Robert and Courtney Love are currently engaged in a friendly spat over who gets to play the 'Hole' singer's late headbanging hubby, Curt Cobain in a biopic.


Love had recently shown her disapproval over the heartthrob vampire taking on the role of the famous Nirvana frontman to which Pattinson himself, responds with a tongue lashing of his own. Mmm. Reminds me of lethal tongue. Oops!


According to Cobain's wifey, it would be "stupid" to cast Pattinson in the role, wherein the 'Twilight' actor agrees with her, saying it would have been "ridiculous" for him to play the part.

Says Pattinson in an interview with the Daily Mirror, "You see all these comments, like from Courtney Love, saying 'what the f--k! He's totally wrong for it' and I'm like, 'I f--king said no, you d--k!' I didn't get offered it." Whoah. Is it just me or did that just sound like my man Mel back there?


Meanwhile, contenders to play the legendary musician have surfaced to the likes of Ryan Gosling and James McAvoy leading the pack. And to play Courtney is rumored to be Scarlett Johansson. That gorgeous earth angel? Did Courtney make that choice? No way!


Let it go Edward. Uh, I mean Rob. Man, I get you two mixed up all the time!
