The Verizon-iPhone rumor is still fresh in my mind, so after reading another iPhone outside AT&T rumor, my reaction was: "Oh, okay!"
According to reports, which quoted a certain site's "highly placed" source, T-Mobile has 80% chance of selling Apple's popular smart phone. The said source added that it will start selling Apple's iPhone in the third quarter of 2010. So it means, if the rumor is 100% true, US consumers will get T-Mobile iPhones before the Verizon ones.
But here's one quick fact, trying to debunk this claim. PC World writes: "With T-Mobile there is one big problem, and that's their 3G frequencies. They operate on a non-standard 1700/2100 MHz band, whereas AT&T uses the standard 1900MHz for 3G with 850MHz in certain markets. That means the 3GS is not going to work on T-Mobile."
