Faster than a speeding reboot! I mean, speeding rumor..
Yes, it's definitely a craze nowadays, isn't it? It's like Hollywood's big bosses are getting lazy, reboots here and there. They did it with 'Nightmare on Elm Street,' 'Predators,' 'Spiderman' is in the works, now the man of steel. But I never said I was complaining!
Now, the Kryptonian task will lie on the shoulders of 'Chuck' star, Zachary Levi. Well, not just yet. The 29-year-old actor is still trying out his luck for the world's popular superhero, wherein the last flick had Brandon Routh donning the red and blue tights. Yup, those were definitely skin tight!
According to GeekTyrant, Levi has joined the audition for the film tenatively entitled 'The Man of Steel.' Although it hasn't been confirmed as to what role he auditioned for, the site strongly claims that the actor has his eyes on obviously, Clark Kent.
Zachary Levi |
Levi, a towering 6 foot 4 in height, is popularly known for his role as Chuck Bartowski in the TV series 'Chuck,' besides starring in 'Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.' Jonathan Nolan, on the other hand, has written scripts for several movies like Christopher Nolan's masterpiece, 'Dark Knight,' and 'Memento.'
The Superman reboot will be a joint venture by Warner Bros. and Legendary Picture.
You've got the height Zach, but you gotta beef up bigtime. And I also suggest that they make the 'S' on the costume a little bigger. The one in 'Superman Returns' was tiny. And I want the suit dark blue!
DC or Marvel, I'm about comic books. So start taking notes, fellas! What do you think?
