Manila, Philippines - The biggest issue this week [for us] is the alleged low talent fees of Pop Princess and certified Box Office Queen Sarah Geronimo for her flicks. Last night when Star Cinema gave their Official Statement wherein they clarified that they are not connected or involved in the issue because Viva Films are the ones who sets the amount for the talent fees of their contract artists.
Couple of days ago when Viva Films honcho Vic Del Rosario denied the reports. Confusing, why did Star Cinema issued an official statement in connection with the TF issue if they really gave the justifiable amount to Sarah Geronimo?
The only person that can clarify and end the issue is the Box Office Queen herself, but how can she defend herself to this kind of issues if she's out of the country? Why not phone patch or video or Skype or whatever? Poor Sarah, we hope the reports are just mere speculations, she even pulled a whopping 200M gross for You Changed My Life. So, 200 Million minus 300k, that's a huge amount of money for Star Cinema and Viva Films.
