Finally, Russell Crowe earns his long awaited star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Monday morning.


Wife Danielle Spencer and their children Charles Spencer Crowe and Tennyson Spencer Crowe also attended the ceremony held in Hollywood, California. 

Attended by more than 500 fans, plus reporters and photographers, the New Zealand native actor recieved the 2,404th star along with director Ron Howard ('A Beautiful Mind'), Jay Leno and Brian Gazer, all present at the ceremony. Aussie star Sam Worthington of 'Avatar' and 'Clash Of The Titans' also showed up.

It rained in the morning causing WOF organizers to set up tents but the clouds diminished fortunately giving way to Crowe. 'The power of stardom,' Jay Leno remarked.

The 'Gladiator' star quoted in his speech that an actor told him earlier in his career that the best thing in his job is they always finish. 'The job may finish but the work continues on,' he added.
