Larry King, CNN's star host and potential ex wife Shawn Southwick has had plans to undergo marriage counseling, but not to save their marriage.

King, 76, and wife number eight, Southwick, 50, has discussed sessions with the counsellor after divorce papers were filed, for the sole reason of maintaining stability for their two kids during the seperation, sources told the Daily News.

King's divorce lawyer Dennis Wasser, stated that the chances of a possible reconciliation seem dim. Divorce papers were filed after Southwick's speculations of soon to be ex hubby having an affair with her 46 year old sister, heightened to new levels.

Even though the couple expressed their love during their son's baseball game, it's too early to assume anything at this point. King's major priority right now is his two sons, aged 11 and 9.
